Fan Matrix Buttons for Personal Websites

This idea is for far into the future. We let users put buttons on their personal websites that show off their Fan Matrix accuracy stats. We'd have to figure out how to dynamically create these images in php, but i know it's possible and not out of reach. This will be a pretty cool feature and also be some free marketing.

testimonials/message wall

This should have been pretty obvious I guess, but we need some sort of "testimonial" functionality that friendster has. Maybe call it something else...it's important to get the vocab right...

Maybe also have something like "your wall" from facebook, where you just have a message wall and your friends can add messages on there... :)

Advanced Poll Script for polls

there is a pretty nice script for polls here: http://proxy2.de/scripts.php called "advanced poll"
We could just implement this into our system somehow...no reason to build our own when there's a nice one out there already :)

I wonder if there are any stats engines like this available.

Let people have an alias

Fans can choose an alias or "display name" (kind of like in MSN Messenger). This alias would be used everywhere, where there is interaction. The Profile would still display the "name" though. I reserve "Neo." :)

This is the first blog from my email. Pretty damn cool!

customize profile look

Let each user be able to customize what the design of their profile looks like. Maybe a color scheme difference, maybe a team theme (don't know about any trademark violations possible here).

Instead of friends, maybe "connections"

The term "friend" has caused some unnecessary confusion on websites like friendster. We don't want people to have to decide whether someone is a friend or not, just whether they would like to be connected to that person. Perhaps call them "connects" then or...hmm, "connections?" or something else?

random quotes

maybe add ability to have customized random quotes show up for Favorite Quote.

send emotions

if something good happens to your teams, you could send everyone a "gloat" or something...

if something bad happens, then you could "claim shame" and then you wouldn't have to face your friends with the shame!

Flower board

have a flower board for people to add messages to show their entire friend-network, until someone changes it.

coolness ratio

There could be a "coolness" ratio assigned to everyone depending on how what teams they like and how hated those teams are across the whole network. Not sure exactly how this would work, but thats the idea.
